Top 4 locations for students to live in Stoke-on-Trent

There are four main locations within the city of Stoke-on-Trent suitable for students to live in: Shelton, Hanley, Penkhull and Boothen.

These locations are close to Staffordshire University and other amenities such as the library, Stoke train station, parks and attractions. The main library is on the doorstep of the Stoke train station which has great connections to Birmingham, London and Manchester. There is a bus service which will take you from Penkhull to Staffordshire University. This is the yellow number 9 and it takes under 20 minutes to get there. The same bus will get you from Penkhull to the Royal Stoke University hospital in under 10 minutes.

Boothen

Boothen is a village close to Staffordhire University and Stoke hospital. There is a regular bus service, which include numbers 21, 23 or 25. These can get you from Boothen to the University within 19 minutes. Boothen is home to a Dunelm warehouse where seasonal jobs are always on offer, ideal for students.
